Very sturdy and sensible value for the quality BUT....

WARNING - Not quick or easy to erect - took 2 fit DIY-ers a full 8 hours so be prepared, but worth the effort as it looks great and will last very well.

WARNING - Make sure you read the instructions very carefully and in the right order (don't try to cut corners).

WARNING - Lay cardboard or dust sheets to prevent scratching the finish whilst assembling

WARNING - No downpipes or fittings included (very frustrating). Go for "FloPlast" push-fit pipes and fittings, available very widely for about Â£30 total. They make these in black or white so make sure you don't order white! You need:
4 x "WP02B" 40mm pipes (black)
4 x "WP08" 40mm "straight coupling" (black) to join onto gutter outlet
4 x "WP11" 40mm 90 degree bends (black) to divert the water away at the bottom

Overall recommended

I'm looking out at my backyard and I can see my beautiful Martinique Gazebo with over a foot of snow on it. I am so impressed with how sturdy the structure is! I have heard my neighbours complaining about various things on their property being damaged from the winter we've been having so far, and fortunately I have no complaints :)

I mostly built the gazebo on my own, with assistance on a few of the steps. Not all of the bolts were labled clearly. Be sure to go through the instructions step by step, it is really important not to skip any steps. I found at times I would loosen one bolt a bit to make it easier to put another one in. At first I thought the roof panels seemed flimsy but once the entire gazebo was put together they actually seem good. After you finish building it is a really good looking gazebo.

The quality of the materials is really nice, down to the stainless steel hardware. Take your time with assembly, it is certainly worth it.

This was more expensive than those soft top pergolas and you can tell why. It's great quality, protects from UV, stands up against all different kinds of weather, and is a permenant structure in our yard. Glad we made the investment.
