Compare every Palram-Canopia patio cover we sell
Five series and 40 patio covers, starting at $1,189 for the Sierra and running up to a 31 ft Stockholm. Every series is shown side by side below. Filter by projection to narrow it, or switch individual series off to look closely at two or three. Projection is how far the cover reaches out from your wall, and it is usually the number that decides which series fits your deck or patio.
Where these figures come from
Wind and snow ratings are Palram-Canopia's tested figures. Palram tests in metric, so the kg/m² and km/h values are the measured ones and the pound and mile figures are conversions. Wind is shown in km/h with the mph conversion alongside, snow load in pounds per square foot.
Stockholm snow load is rated size by size. Palram tests each span separately: 11 x 12 ft is 24.6 lb/ft² (120 kg/m²); 11 x 24 and 11 x 26 ft are 30.7 (150 kg/m²); 11 x 22 and 11 x 31 ft are 36.9 (180 kg/m²); 11 x 17 and 11 x 19 ft are 41.0 (200 kg/m²). Check the size you want before you order.
Helsinki has one exception. The series is rated 30.7 lb/ft² (150 kg/m²). The 9'10" x 15'5" is rated 20.5 (100 kg/m²). Sierra, Sierra Cabrio and Olympia each carry one rating across the whole range.
Light transmission is the roof panel figure. The Sierra Cabrio's opaque grey panel is 100% full shade, which is the point of it. The Helsinki's Heat Block panel gives 80% shade and passes the other 20% of the light. The Olympia white panel gives 98% shade, so 2% comes through.
Prices are read from our store when this page loads, so each series shows the lowest regular price it is selling for today. Open box and clearance units are not counted, because they are one-off pieces and sell quickly. If our store cannot be reached, the page falls back to the last published figures.
Ratings describe a correctly assembled cover that is properly anchored to a sound wall and a sound footing. They are not a guarantee for every site, and local codes may ask for more. Clear snow before it builds up.
